@legend_woo based his character on The Legendary Monster Woo (伝説怪獣 ウー), who appears in Episode 30 of the original 1966 Ultraman series, titled "Phantom of the Snow Mountains" (まぼろしの雪山, Maboroshi no Yukiyama).
